Es soll Frauen und Männern vor und nach einer Chemo- oder Strahlentherapie die Möglichkeit zu geben, sich nach neuesten wissenschaftlichen Erkenntnissen hinsichtlich ihrer Fruchtbarkeit beraten und ggf. auch Maßnahmen zum Schutz ihrer Fruchtbarkeit durchführen zu lassen. Das Netzwerk umfasst derzeit ca. 35, überwiegend universitäre Zentren, die vor Ort und innerhalb des Netzwerks in enger Kooperation mit den Onkologen aller Fachrichtungen arbeiten
